the weekend....
so this weekend turned out to be a very long weekend indeed! on monday, I was told that I could have thursday and friday off on TOIL which I was rather happy about!
Wednesday was Nine Ashes Gig. Nine Ashes is the band my hosue mate and very good friend Dave is in, he is the kick ass keyboard player (oh yes). He was originally due on at quarter to nine which meant I had plenty of time to get to the venue. However about 3pm on weds I get this text telling me, actually it's now 7.15!!!! this meant it was literally a race against time to get there! I did manage to get there, Cheri, my other hosue mate caught up with me when I had to change trains at Stockwell (pissing northern line) so I knew I was on track to get there on time, we made it with time to spare luckily and really enjoyed the gig (the best NA gig so far).
The rest of the bands were shite (especially the headliners - oh my god so bland!) so I coaxed cheri into leaving and going elsewhere where the drinks amoungst other things were cheaper!!!! Eventually me and cheri rolled home and sat up for a good while chatting.
Thursday I eventually roused myself about 11. I had to go collect me car from work, and then me and cheri decided to pop into town again. We had lunch, did some shopping and then met up with dave when he finished work whom we pressured into staying out with us! Had a really good night.
Friday after a quick clean of the kitchen I headed back to maidenhead to some small chaos which involved taking michael down the job centre. (can I say 'I told you so'??? and 'will you listen to me in future'??) Let's just say that I totally knew what was going to be going down. So it was no great surprise to me!! We had a nice evening chillin' and playing sonic.. mmm!!!
Saturday was anothe chilled day, made chocolate crispie cakes! and Beat Michael at monopoly! hehehe!!!
Sunday was the BBRC BBQ which is my dads radio club annual socail at our house, I cooked the food, and then pretty much dissapeared....... and oh my god I just realised I left my leftover cheesecake at MICHAELS!!!!! GOOD LORD!!!!!
That's some mean good cheese cake.... I almost feel like crying...... *sob*
