"Money for nothin'! (and chicks for free)"
An unfortunate habit I have acquired lately is to start things without ever finishing them. Or, to plan to start them and then never do.
So, after having my heart broken over and over again during the past three months, I figured it might just as well be time to change that lethargy of unfulfilled planning and learn to play the guitar. I've been wanting to do that for a very long time.
So I went downtown and got myself a brand new 7/8 guitar (because I'm too small for regular guitars, haha XD), googled some first basic lessons and realized that even plucking away randomly on the strings is like a healing potion to the soul.
Coming home to my guitar (which I can hardly even hold right yet) is like coming home to a patient, gentle lover.
I've been at it for two weeks now, playing some 10 minutes a day and today I may proubly announce that I've managed two songs with three different chords quite nicely =).
So maybe if all that marketing stuff doesn't work out, I'll take Mark Knopfler's advice after all:
"I shoulda learned to play the guitar
I shoulda learned to play them drums [...]
