sooooo, if you have ever had a dog you know in some ways they are worse than children. well my chloe wasn't feeling well when I got home one night last week and wasn't interested in food (!!?!) and was just acting generally sick and lethargic. I started to get really concerned and wondering if I should take her to the vet, but it was getting late

A friend of mine had a Brittany Spaniel that ate a box of straight pins. Twice.

Oh. My. GOD!!!! That is seriously insane. See, you never have to even consider things like this with cats--w/ them it's just plants and bugs :)

ACK!!! I never heard of that!!!! I've had cats PLAY with razorblades, though, and then track blood all over the apartment, so I know to keep those out of paws reach.

Yeah, swallowed string wrapped in a cat's intestine can cause a horrible death too. Be careful with floss!!!

I think I would have puked screws myself if I'd seen that. Thank God she did throw them up or you might never had known it until it was too late.
