Sketches on Rice Paper
I finally decided to make use of the very generous birthday gift I received from a friend of a Rice-Paper sketch book-- made in Nepal and made of LOKTA shrub. I've always had mixed feelings about drawing on rice-paper because I found the textured surface difficult to work with, but apparently I was just using the wrong medium. Equipped with a pair of brush pens- one black, one clear for creating wash-effects-- I had fun going about and sketching random things about town.
