Contrast Study

This was both a fun and at the same time frustrating assignment as we were tasked with using 3 primary colours to form a study on light and dark areas. It seems easy enough-- until you start doing it and you're constantly having to compare darks to darks and lights to lights...and it's all done in pencil crayon so you can't erase mistakes and it takes absolutely forever to finish. I gave myself severe hand cramp trying to finish this piece in time. But I'm quite happy with the results.

I stuck a mock frame around it to try and imagine it hanging on a wall somewhere. Maybe my own...maybe somebody else's?
