Oh my fucking gods! This movie fucking rocks! I fucking loved it!
Not only does it make up for how boring 300 was, it makes up for every shitty non violent movie I've had to sit through the last five, six, seven years! I didn't think they could make movies like this anymore, I'm so fucking happy!
Finally, something that actually gives my cast iron stomach at least a mild workout. This movie was actually pretty gross. Severed limbs flying everywhere, blood hitting the camera, things being shot into tiny little pieces, exploding pustules, knives stuck in interesting places, a woman with a machine gun leg (almost as cool as a chainsaw hand), a guy that cuts off men's balls when they piss him off and carries them around with him in a bag (and of course they all fall out everywhere at one point). No fucking limits, everything and anything dies. And nothing goes quietly.
Its like a bunch of men got together and made a movie just for me. :-)
That was three hours and nine dollars well spent. And I will go and see it again. I never do that but I will make an exception. Because no movie will ever be this fucking cool again for years to come.
Personally I'm hoping it will do exceptionally well and Hollywood will remember people like me exist and start making hardcore gore again. Evil Dead, Dead Alive, style gore. I'm not holding my breath, but I'm hopeful.
I am in such a good mood right now, if I had come home and the house was on fire it wouldn't have effected me. This was just what I needed.
