Successful Dedication
All right, ritual is finally done, all went well; Hermes has accepted my offering of myself and we move on from there. I can't say that anything spectacular and mystical happened, it was rather quiet but very powerful. Any yet I don't feel exactly right sharing any details beyond that.
I feel kind of good about having that done with now, I can concentrate on other things. It has literally been hanging over my head like a weight the past few months.
The real big news to get through to people is that I am now taking on a new name. This is a name that Hermes gave me a long time ago but only pointed out to me a few months back. The whole story behind the name, where it came from and what exactly it means to me personally and religiously can be found here. Now everyone who knows me is going to have to get used to calling me Gavin, thankfully I did just move a short while back and so no one has known me quite long enough that it should be all that difficult. I will have it legally changed as soon as I acquire both the money and the free time (hopefully won't be too long).
