We have an apartment in Eugene! Yay!!!!!
The second choice apartment (never heard from the douche running the first choice again, didn't return phone calls or anything, rotten asshole), but at this point who cares. After all the drama, we have a fucking lease!!! Yay!!!
The place will be empty on the sixteenth. Maybe before that, but at this point we need a solid date and the sixteenth sounds good to us. With a three and a half day ride on the train, to get there on the sixteenth means that we only have about a week left in the city of Baltimore.
Holy shit.
A very short time to get things done, but I think its workable. It will be insane, but workable.

Okay, now its looking like we won't be able to arrive until the seventeenth. Because we need to do a lot of moving on the train since the moving company takes ten days and we can't exist in an empty apartment for a week at the very least (worst case scenario could be three weeks, while that probably won't happen it definitely could be a lot longer than ten days). But to leave when we'd want to, we'd need someone to drive us out to Washington DC and pick up the train there because the magic train that lets you check baggage doesn't come through Baltimore on that day. We probably don't have anyone who can drive us that far, and besides its just a pain in the ass. So it will have to be the next day and we'll arrive on the seventeenth instead.
Probably can't bring the TV with us either. So I will be missing the final three hours of Lost. Motherfucker! I've been watching the final season this whole time, I'm too into it and now I'll have to wait until late fall to see the last three fucking hours!!! As well as dodge anyone who dares breathe a word of the ending for the next several months (kill any who look like they might be ready to spoil it for me).
I'm pissed about that. But...well, that was the last TV show I was still into, when its over...who knows, I might not care anymore. Unless they start making TV I give a shit about again, and they haven't been doing that for several years now.
Well, that aside...Yay, I'm moving!!!!!
