So many people on my friend's list have done this now, I might as well do it too. So here are a few random facts about your insane host.

I've always been that way about the touch thing--I think because I grew up with a mom who was constantly smothering me, even to the point of putting her arm around my neck to try and hug me while I'm eaitng, and consequently choke me. The only time this rule gets cancelled out is if I'm involved with someone--then I can't get enough of being touched.

I generally avoid physical contact. I've become okay with giving hugs but for the most part I'm just not a touchy-feely person.

For me its the opposite, I grew up with a family that wasn't touchy with each other at all so I'm just really not used to it; that and having been physically abused for a period of time, I really need my personal space. I can live with the hug thing sometimes with people I know, when I'm at an event with a whole bunch of strangers I'm unlikely to ever see again, its a different story. And just because I'm Pagan doesn't mean I am or should be okay with your hands on me, that assumption just bugs me.

Of course, the girlfriend is the grand exception to the no touch rule.
