So, today I'm checking through my friend's list, arrive at an entry from the gaybaltimore  community (a mostly dead and boring list, sort of like the real life community itself).

Oh, it is gone! Happy day. Here's hoping someone told her off, if it wasn't done by now I was going to do it myself.

I can see if you need help with a real problem. Although my mind says stick with friends who know you, hitting up strangers only as a last resort. But to pay for a wedding? Especially a "dream wedding" and we all know dream wedding never refers to quickie with the justice of the peace and a backyard barbecue with friends and family. Fuck you. Either scale your dreams back or wait until you can afford them yourself. I mean hell, I'd like to visit Greece at some point, don't see me flooding the Hellenic lists asking them to buy my tickets for me. :-P

I hate weddings, too many people and I don't do formal. I dress as low scale as I can get away with (and for most people who would invite me to their wedding, they know what they're getting into and don't expect much else from me anyway) and its always in male clothes.

Never been a bridesmaid and never will be, have a rule against that. I don't love anyone enough to wear a lacy, ruffley, easter egg pink dress with a giant bow on the butt. Nope, never.
