The Shrine
I forgot to post this two weeks ago, but as I've said I've been drifting in and out of things lately.
I did set up Odin and Loki's shrine. Still very much a work in progress, but it will do for the moment.
Unfortunately I couldn't set it up as I was advised to do, with the Hermes and Odin and Loki shrines facing each other, with space for me in the middle. I realized that would have required a complete rearrangement of my bedroom, which is set up the way it is right now more out of necessity than my decorating whims. There aren't a lot of electrical outlets in this house (lots of weird electrical issues here, the first month or two was spent learning through trial and error where we could plug things in, what had to be unplugged before we could turn on something else, etc.) and my bed is near the outlet so that I can have my alarm clock within arms reach because if I can't hit the snooze button seventy times I'm not getting up (if its across the room, I'll get up, turn it off and go right back to sleep).
Being as how I won't be living in this shithole house in this shithole neighborhood anymore by the end of the summer, its probably not a very big deal. We will move and my new bedroom will be arranged ahead of time to fit the parameters. I'll probably have more electrical outlets to work with by then.
