The sun has come out...
Well, I've spent a couple hours outside so far today...not sure there is much to show for it, but here's hoping. My new swimsuits need to hurry up and arrive so that I can actually DO something out there instead of just baking in my own sweat. Wow, lovely image! Haha.
My mom and the boys are going to the farm today. She's trying to guilt-trip me into going, but I really want to meet up with Annette and maybe others from the HIAA crew this weekend. I'm also not quite ready for a break from civilization yet to be honest. I like my computer and my cable TV and my big bed and own bathroom! And plus, won't the cicadas be like the plague out there with all the acres and acres of woods? Definitely not cool.
So mostly I've just been hanging out and biding my time till I need to get all my stuff in order. Have to finish some paperwork up this morning so I can mail it to the people at work...they didn't tell me when it's due but I still feel like I need to hurry. My dad wants me to work at some job downtown for the month before the Conference starts. I need the money, but I am really enjoying spending some time at home just helping out my mom. Last summer was such a disaster that I feel like I need to make up for it and have a real summer this time around...and especially since it's the last one ever!!
Anne and I figured out this morning that I'll be heading back to the Bend around July 4-10th when I have a break from work. That should be good times, and it will force me to get the furniture situation worked out. Oh wait, I need money in order to buy furniture! Grrr.
This world would be a better place if they put Prozac in the water.
