I am officially a graduate of Royal High School! Woot! No more LaBelle, no more bells, no more au du mayonaise emanating from the rancid trashcans. Onward and upward to glories of life on Isla Vista!
I think the saddest I felt during graduation was when i saw Mrs. Donohue afterwards. She was tearing up, which made me sad. She told me to keep in touch and I hugged her about four times before going off to meet up with my family. After all of the graduation festivities were over, it was off to Buca di Beppo in T.O. for the best graduation party ever. Dave a la SAVE was there, which made me most content. Also, my aunt, uncle, cousin, and his new wife came. My mom's best friend and her daughter also came down to visit. And Casey's family came as well, along with my fiary godmother Angie and the Chica's family. So I had a wonderful time and the food was flipping amazing. Everyone had a good time, which made the whole thing run smoothly.
Life post-graduation has been excellent. I have been reading this lovely little book called Bel Canto. And I have more than enough stuff to read over the summer. Yesterday I went with Chica to hang out at Kriten's house and I was feeling so groggy I ended up falling asleep on the couch. So, I'm kind of sick now. I have this irritating little throat thing coupled with sinus troubles. The sinus bt went away last night, but my throat kicked in full-force this morning. Oy. Well, I wish everyone a wonderful summer and many fun times.
Question of the Day (yes, Corinne, I'm going to steal this today0:
What did you feel when you graduated or how do you expect to feel when you do graduate high school?
