I came very close to dying on 7/7/05 in London; my train had left the station just before one of the ones that got blown up pulled in. Also, the bus that exploded was right beside the Faculty of Law, where I would have been studying if I hadn't had an emergency call to go into work that day. If I ever watched a show where someone who was supposed to be Superman blew up trains - even empty ones - I'd be traumatised. I haven't watched the Persuasion footage, and I don't think I ever will because it brings back too many painful memories of 9/11.
There is no doubt in my mind that TPTB want us to wonder what the problem is with Clark; but surely the writers could have found a better way to do this than resorting to a recreation of the worst terrorist attack in history?
