How is anyone supposed to (or I should say, "still") buying this is the "real" Clark Kent? Whom even thought this plotline was a good idea? Part of me isn't even shocked they want an s10 and

I'm not American either, Vera, but one doesn't have to be American to be affected by the events of 9/11. Anyone with half a heart was horrified when the Twin Towers went down. Everyone knows where they were when it happened, and everyone who watched Persuasion will immediately be reminded.

I came very close to dying on 7/7/05 in London; my train had left the station just before one of the ones that got blown up pulled in. Also, the bus that exploded was right beside the Faculty of Law, where I would have been studying if I hadn't had an emergency call to go into work that day. If I ever watched a show where someone who was supposed to be Superman blew up trains - even empty ones - I'd be traumatised. I haven't watched the Persuasion footage, and I don't think I ever will because it brings back too many painful memories of 9/11.

There is no doubt in my mind that TPTB want us to wonder what the problem is with Clark; but surely the writers could have found a better way to do this than resorting to a recreation of the worst terrorist attack in history?
