Thanks! :) You're awesome too!

Blue = Magic was the first one I noticed back in the Poisoned Chaliace with how the army was blue (so nice contrast to red but not it's compliment) and then Nimueh is in blue just like Merlin. Then later I noticed how they put Gwen in gold, the color of Arthur's token from his quest, and how they had Arthur and Gwen both in red when they teamed up. That is what started all of this.

I love that when we meet them, Merlin and Morgana both wear blue, and Arthur and Gwen both wear red. It says a lot about how they are setting up the carachters.

Gwen's dress made me squee because while it's still low end and she's not there yet it's red and purple - it puts her right inline with Arthur or Uther, it marks her as a royal of Camelot which was huge to me. Of course at that point once he got in trouble, I knew he was ded. He pointed out that Gwen deserved nice things, and even had the foreshadowing of what kind of things she should have. It definately helped Gwen think about and *say* what she thought.

I mean if you go and see The Dragon's Call or Valient, you can tell Gwen has these opinions but wouldn't speak them; her opinions start changing some in The Mark of Nimueh and Lancelot, but she's still not acting out. I think Merlin was actually a good influence in that way so you see her willing to help in Excalibur and speak up in Moment of Truth; butit's after her father's death that she's willing to speak up while in Camelot. It makes me cheer for Gwen as she's coming into her own skin some.

Gold I think is somewhat a color of royalty here - it's precious, it's expensive. But I think Gold for Gwen marks her as a Pendragon (the dragons are golden, and are the ones on the crest) but it is interesting that it makes her part of Arthur's quest and as an LI. And it seems almost a bit Cinderella/Aladdinish to me, like she's gold hidden in the rest of the population.

Gry totally makes me think it's armor - because it's not people doing bad things, it's a very neutral color and very contained.

Thank you for the comment and for reading. :)
