i'm supposed to
find out if i get that job i reeeally want "early to mid this week". i didn't find out early this week. it is now mid this week. i'm just anxious because i really feel/felt like i got that job. the conversation during the interview was so fucking smooth -like it wasn't even an interrogation at all, just a comfortable banter- and she even gave me a grand tour of the place.
direct quote from last week: "you'll definitely be hearing from me (or us?) early to mid next week."
even though i already got hired somewhere else and they want me to start monday, the successful interview combined with my anxiety for waiting for this phonecall/email from early-to-mid-this week has left the taste of a "cool-ish job" in my mouth. the place that i got hired at is a decent back-up (any back-up is a decent one), but i don't want to work there. i don't want to work there because of that taste in my mouth.
so, i've already sent out a couple more covers/resumes to cool-ish workplaces.
time to eat.
