Fundies amuse me. And yes, I'd like to punch that woman, too.

And then release a bunch of rabid, horny monkeys on her and have them rape him.

"I've been exceptionally pissed off lately; I think it has something to do with an overabundance of organic chemistry and no video games. :("

Lack of sex. Thats a better reason.

Haha, that's a pretty ironic response for a post of this nature. :D

I was focusing on the whole why your pissed off thing. not the stuff about the post. I didn't read the post till you said it was ironic.

Not trying to attack anybody but most of the christians who are pretty devout that i work with have all commited that whole adultrey thing. Its like the #1 sin on saturday, confess on sunday and everything is okay. HIPOCRISY!!!!!! Male or female having sex, good? bad?. I really dont get the whole christian religion at all.

Awesome rant Chir! I've told you this before and I'll say it again... you have a wonderful insight and way with words. Print this out and send it in. It might not accomplish a damn thing, but it will get read.

If it's not too personal, what made you decide to be pro-choice? I've heard of lots of mothers not being pro-choice, so was it something you felt strongly about before you had your children? Or did it just gradually evolve over time?

I've always been pro-choice. I think it's just the way my mom raised us up to be strong independent thinkers ultimately responsible for our own well being. That and my mom was raped when I was 6. I don't really remember the incident but I've been told that I witnessed it and I do seem to remember that pregnancy was a big concern. There was also a cousin who went to one of those back alley abortionists and died as a result of a botched surgery. If she hadn't been so young and so afraid of dealing with her parents she might have tried a more legal, sanitized and healthy means of dealing with her issues ( ... )
