alright i just got out of spanish class, and my brain hurts like no other. but im in the spanish mindset, if you will... so instead of reading that book about bob dylan i got in spanish, im just gonna complain, its what i'm best at.

compared to english, spanish makes NO sense. everyone says english is the hardest language, its not. im not just saying that because i'm learning spanish, its what they say here, too. english is hard to pronounce, but spanish... almost every noun has an article, either feminine or masculine. and this means when you want to describe a noun you have to make the adjective correspond to the noun, either male or female. who ever decided that a computer was a girl, or that a book was a boy? theyre sexist, if you ask me...

and every verb changes depending on who does it, and when.... the verb changes for I, You, He She It, We, and they... and for past tense the ending of the verb changes in the same way, and there are 2 different kinds of past tense, more general and more specific, to put it simply. future tense is more easy, but again it changes depending on who is doing the action. and to say someone HAS done something, the word doesnt change at all depending on who does it, but the article in front changes! it makes no sense

and let me talk a little about the pronounciation, compared to english.... there is an r and an rr (you have to roll your r's!)... the rr is like a BIG roll and the r is just a little one, making it sound more like an l. there's also an l and an ll... the ll is pronounced like a y, or a j. the j sounds like an h (or a g with an e or an i), and the h is silent. its alll mixed up... and for some reason the people cant pronounce TH, but they can imitate the Spanish accent (From spain) when they say something like corazon, where the z is exactly like a th. i'm telling you these people are crazy.

and... yup, i still really want to go home. 2 months, 1 day...
