the red tape is so bright....
i was in pittsburgh this past weekend. i've always heard it's an ugly city, but i thought the hills covered in snow and the river crossed by the bridges was beautiful. yes, it was freezing, but being able to throw a snowball was totally worth the cold. and besides, it's a prelude to next year, which i'm very excited for. only two more days and i'll know for sure....
it was a good tournament for other reasons as well. much like my weekend at camp, i hung out with old friends like anika and andrew; became better friends with others like audrey, sarah, and cooper; and made new friends with eileen, robert, and joe. and even though i was sick as hell and hacking my lungs out on the strip, i did better than i ever have before in a div I tournament. these trips are why i love the sport.
this is my last week before break. i'm so ready for the year to be over. just the last stretch....one final sprint to the finish....
