HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Happy New Year! I hope yours is fabulous! I had a lovely New Year's Eve, James and I went to The Barenaked Ladies Concert, which was super fun, and we ended up seeing Char and Tim there. Anyway... so did anyone make a New Year's resolution? I sort of have one... it's more like a New Year's bet... my entire family, as most of you know, is a little bit on the larger side and we all want to lose weight, so we each are throwing $20 into a pot (I don't know if we've decided if it's $20 total, or $20 a month)... anyway whoever loses a certain amount of weight first gets the pot...30 pounds for the boys, 25 for the girls b/c guys lose weight faster or something like that... I will probably not win because I am the smallest member of my family so it will be tougher for me to lose weight. Plus, guys lose weight like nothing. James decided to join us so the pot is now 120 instead of 100, which is nice because whoever wins profits $100 (or $100 a month, depending on what we decide). Anyway, I am off to work... Yeah, I know... on New Year's Day... at least I am making time and a half...
