Lumpiang Shanghai...
Last last weekend (30Nov-03Dec), I went to shanghai with my dad (partly business trip for him). Hindi na talaga ako dapat sasama nung una, kasi fully booked na daw and PAL hiked up their airfare (taking advantage of the long weekend), kaya nalungkot talaga ako nun. After few days, natanggap ko na na next time na lang ako pupunta. Two weeks before departure, my dad had good new for me. Sasama na daw ako!! Yipee, super duper excited ako kahit d ko kilala ung mga magiging kasama ko dun. As always, I've researched where to go there. I'm just a little bit worried if I can wander alone since d ko kilala ung mga magiging kasama ko dun. Anyway, here's what we did:
1st day:
Arrived in Shanghai lunch time. Checked in at Eton Hotel. Ate lunch nearby the hotel.
After taking lunch, we went to fabric market. Super ganda ng mga damit dun. Iba ibang klaseng tela meron sila and ganda din ng mga tahi nila. I bought this "Princess Sarah" wrap. I also bought gloves. These were my first bargains, kaya nataga ako dun, lahat ng nabili ko dun mahal!! Then we headed to science technology center. There's a huge tiangge in the basement. I bought a pair of super cute boots and gloves again. This time nakatawad na ko ng tama. And I'm sooooo happy with my purchases. Went back to hotel, and had sumptuous dinner. I can say this is the best dinner I had in my entire life. Burp. After dinner, I went down and strolled around the hotel.
2nd day:
I planned to go to qipu for shopping. Its their version of our 168. I went with the others, and naiyak talaga ko kasi 30 mins lang ako nakaikot. Late na kasi kami nakarating dun tapos ang tagal pa nila mamili. I did panic buying. 4 bags in 30 mins. Naiyak talaga ako nun, buti napigilan kong humagulgol. Anyway, we need to go back to hotel at 2pm for our tour. We went to Oriental Pearl Tower, The Bund, Brazilian BBQ dinner (the culprit), watched acrobatic show (super jawdropping).
3rd day:
Weird feeling when I woke up. Went to Nanjing road. I was challenged when we need to buy in their dry market. hahaha.. bought bag for my mom. We only had 1 and 1/2 to roam around. Then they had lunch ( I was not feeling well so I didn't eat much), then went to the factory of fake stuff ( we didn't buy anything pero ang tagal nila dun cos of haggling ). Then went to yu yuan garden. I really like the structures here, ganda ng dating. Daming tao dito, and the prices are a bit high so super haggle ang kelangan. Dito nanakawan ng digicam ung isa naming kasama, sobrang dami kasing tao. Dinner at a restaurant. Then they went to XinTianDi. Sadly, me and my dad weren't able to go with them cos pareho na kaming masama ung pakiramdam. Di na namin kaya lumakad sa sakit ng tiyan and di na rin namin kaya ung lamig.
4th day:
Went to science technology center for last minute shopping. Was able to ride their metro/subway. cool! We're able to buy watches at cheaper price. Had our last meal at Eton then bought persimons. yumyum... = ) Finally went to airport.
I went on sick leave for the next 3 and 1/2 days cos of LBM. Luckily, I managed to attend the CAO-CCR party. Laughtrip ung celebrity duets nila. hahahaha... Had fun at the party!!
