The week of Vacation
So after looking over my journal i realized that it really has been a long time since i have posted. So figured since i start work again tomorrow after being off since the 26 of jan why not write a little. Took off from the 26th to the 3rd which surprised me that i was allowed since we were putting in a show during this time. Thankfully though they gave me it, ended up going down to West Virginia for a couple of days to visit a friend of mine that i have not seen in a long time. For those who are looking 7 hours in a car SUCK! especially when driving by yourself. Though thank god for my MP3 player or i would have probably lost it. When i got down there got introduced to everyone who my friend lived with and they were all really cool people to talk to. Ended up spending Tuesday walking around the woods with a couple of them helping to bring in firewood which was fun in its own way since not what i normally do and also I am one of those people who can't really sit around and do nothing. On weds was the actual fun time when i ended up helping out in the Blacksmith shop that one of them runs. Turns out that the guy has done a lot for different movies also which was cool since ended up walking away with some moldings that he made from original molds, though the moldings he gave me were just a plastic molding. Also learned how to use a plasma cutter and also how to weld a little. Then comes Thursday where i started the long drive back to Philly. So as not to make this a really long post i will post some more tommorrow about this past week.
