The fate of Ultra Magnus is a tragic one. He's a reluctant hero. He fights unerringly against the Decepticon threat and leads the Autobots when needs must but he'd much rather be travelling Earth and seeing the sights. As if that wasn't enough, when things do seem to calm down, Galvatron shows up and knocks the living piss out of him again. He eventually sacrifices himself to put an end to Galvatron's menace. And fails. Poor guy.
