Car accident...
So... I don't know if most of you know this already, but I got in a pretty big accident a little over a week ago.
I was coming home from Sea World on the 8 and had my boss in the car with me. It was around 3:30 and the traffic wasn't that great, around the Waring Road exit it was at a dead stop and then it picked up again. I was going about 60mph at this time. Right before you see the "College Ave. 1 mile" sign is where it happened. I was in the fast lane and all I was thinking about was that I had to be at the restaurant at 5. So, I looked in my rear view mirror, then my clock, then all of a sudden my bosses hand grabbed my arm and he started yelling "Colleen, STOP STOP STOP!" I had about 3 seconds of breaking before I crashed into the commercial van in front of me. My boss got a little bit of whip lash (I think that's how you would spell it), but the minute I looked up and saw what was going to happen I threw my arm across his chest so that he wouldn't hit the dashboard... BUT, I on the other hand I got really bad whip lash and a little bit of bruising on my chest from hitting the stirring wheel. My left arm just couldn't brace myself. On the good side though... I got some really strong pain killers and muscle relaxers (now that's some fuuuuuuun stuff! Hahahaha... it kinda felt like I was walking on air and I couldn't really feel the ground underneath me). I went to my restaurant's softball game and Joey wanted to go to Starbucks across the street and everyone was yelling at him to hold my hand because I really couldn't feel what I was doing. Hahahahaha... but it sure did take away the pain and made my week a little bit easier.
So yeah, my car is totaled. I mean... everything was pushed into me and my car lost all its fluids like a pregnant lady's water breaking. I swear... there was soooo much fucking fluid under my car. Hey, and I was famous for about 15 seconds because my crash was on the radio! Hahahahaha... that's sad! Oh yeah... and the other person that I hit was fine and nothing major was damaged on his van. But anyway, it's late and I have to get to bed. Happy 4th of July everyone and I'll talk to you all soon.
