In California it's really easy to declare your dog to be a service dog. You don't have to be blind or handicapped in any way. And the dog doesn't have to have any training to actually be a service animal. It doesn't even have to be one of the few breeds they actually train as service dogs.
So basically, go to a restaurant and sooner or later you will see somebody dragging their poodle or terrier on a lease with a little harness just to carry a few pills they could easily put in their purse or pocket.
It's just funny to watch the sense of entitlement that some folks have!
