The tournament also saw the presence of U19 Boys and for the first time U19 Girls who played in districts as an aid to selection for the national teams. In the Boys U19 There was an overseas entry in the form of Coolmine RFC from Dublin, arriving with a party of 25 including 19 eager players. Plus points must go to the Northern Titans in the Boy’s tournament who just beat the Irish Coolmine in the final and to the West region girls who won the corresponding event.
