Yes...I know it's been a while...
First:
Grad Party on June 10th. So much fun. If you weren't there too bad.
Second:
Kelly's Bachelorette Party on June 16. We went to Bahama Breeze and then spent the night in a hotel. It was a lot of fun and I hope Curt appreciates the lingerie that we bought her.
Third:
Kelly's Wedding on July 14. Amazing. She was so beautiful. The day started out at Katie's with hair, makeup and running around crazy like. Klair, Sara, Katie and I all got ready together. Needless to say there are some fun pictures of that. Pictures in the park turned out better than I thought they would, but it was really hot and we all ended up using the handkerchief to wipe our foreheads. Pictures at the church seemed to take forever and waiting around for the ceremony to start...wow. The ceremony went well. No one standing up cried, but it did reaffirm the reasons I don't go to church. The small reception after the church was ok. I got to talk to a lot of people I hadn't seen in a while and I was starving at this point because I hadn't eaten in 8 hours so along with the rest of the bridal party we stuffed our faces really quick and then just randomly cut in line to get food. NExt it was onto the hotel to check in and then off to the big reception. Entering was so crazy. Klair, Casey and Bryan decided that it would be cool, since there were three of them, to act like they couldn't fit through the door and then fall. It was so funny. No one could do anything to top it so Katie decided she should carry Jordan to the table...wow. The reception was so much fun and there was a chocolate fountain.
Fourth:
My Brother's 21st Bday on July 16th. Yes, two days after the wedding. I missed out on what sounds like a great weekend at home to visit my brother. We left at 9am the day after the wedding and no I actually didn't wake anyone up at the hotel...amazing. My dad and I took him to the bar at midnight and in my brothers infinite wisdom or drunken stupor he decides it would be funny to tell the bouncer on the way out, who didn't card him on the way in, that today was his 21st. The bouncer was shocked. I guess he had been letting him in all along. On Monday he had such a hangover that he threw up all morning and had to postpone lunch in the park for 3 hours. It was fun. It may be my first and last visit to Michigan Tech so I was taken on a tour. That campus is so small I think I would be bored out of my mind there, but he loves it. We walked through campus twice and in total walking time I think it would be like me walking from Brody to go visit Case...wow. I had fun though.
Fifth:
The new task. I have to accumulate all the pictures that I know of, copy them and then pick out which photos are best of the wedding. Then on Tuesday morning Katie, Sara, Lauren and I are assembling a scrap book for Kelly of her wedding. Yes I know that she had professional pictures taken, but trust me. The photographer missed a few things.
Sixth:
School. I didn't get into the Law School I wanted so I will be returning to State in the fall. I will have a second degree in Political Science-Pre Law by this spring, in just two semesters. Right now I'm just waiting on housing. I will either live in Owen or in an apartment with Kristy.
Seventh:
There is a new boy. His name is Scott. He's a manager at the Gratiot theatre. I've been seeing him for about three weeks. He went to the wedding with my sister and survived my family. He even had a conversation with my dad that neither one will talk about, but both say was a good thing. His Bday is tomorrow and yes he will be 30 and no I have no idea what to get him. So tonight I get to meet his family, tomorrow we are going to Ypsilanti for Beer-fest, with my dad, and Saturday we are going out for Lisa's Bday. It will be another eventful weekend.
Eighth:
Meagan. I read that you are currently unemployed. I have Wednesday off. I see a movie in our future.
Ninth:
I'm super excited for Boston. I will be leaving August 2nd and returning August 17th. The first five days I will be hanging around with Katie and Sara. On the 7th they are dropping me off in Brockton for LSSP and then I will be moved to Boston for ICON. The last two are all Circle K related and I am also waiting, very impatiently, to hear on Sunday whether I am going to be an LTG or not.
Tenth:
This working at Gratiot isn't the best thing. They keep over staffing and calling me not to come in or come in late. It sucks, but the summers all most over and I need the money for Boston. That's probably the only reason I stayed.
That's about it for now...that was a lot...I think I need a nap...;)
