While driving to my dad's place today, I saw a left-hand drive car, which is quite rare in this part of the world. Not only was it a left hand drive, it was a left hand drive Proton Wira. Not only was it a left hand drive Wira, it was a left hand drive Wira with the driver trying to pay his toll to the cashier, whose booth is on the right side of the car. Hilarity ensues. After struggling a few tries reaching over to the right window, the driver took off his cap and used it to pass money to the cashier lady, who still had to reach out pretty far to grab the cap.
The cashier lady and I exchanged chuckles while I paid my toll fees, and I drove as fast as I could to catch a glimpse of the driver in front. Surprise, surprise, he's Malay! A Malay dude driving a left-hand drive Wira... who could've thought of that? In retrospect, I should've taken a picture... which reminds me (not like I actually forgot), my new lens is coming on Monday.. Yay!
