This weekend:
It was the ultimate showdown: the first meeting between my ex-boyfriend and my new boyfriend. i can say it went without a hitch, mostly because not a word was spoken between the two. although caleb did interrupt a conversation, with an old debate friend sarah hill, to talk, and used it as a tool to yet again turn me into the bad guy. he would just keep saying "if you're uncomfortable talking to me you don't have to" or "i know you don't care" (as Robyn calls them "pity parties" and everyone's invited) and what was i supposed to say "you're right i am uncomfortable and i don't really care but i'm being congenial by listening to your prattle, i'd actually rather be stomped death in and ALF mink freedom sprint". i ended the conversation ingeniously making him feel probably as piss poor as he possibly could and that is by simply walking away. he pointed to eric and said "so what, is he better than me?" and i said "this conversation is over" knowing that the whole thing was only a ruse.
