Now I actually have to learn and research some facts about my own country, and reflect on the culture. All of a sudden I got two "gigs" coming up where I have to talk about Taiwan. One is being part of a one-day workshop that introduces culture and Taiwan to a Danish family that is moving there to live and work, and the other one is a guest presentation about Taiwan in the Managing Multinational Workforces class. This is not so small of a task coming from a person who hasn't lived in Taiwan since she was 10. I'm kinda excited about them though, since this will give me a chance to figure out whether I want to study Intercultural Management or not. Best of all, I get paid for being part of the one-day workshop. Woo-hoo!
It's been really cold this week. Brrrr. But at least it finally snowed!
I've started a little herb collection on my window sill. So far I have basil, rosemary and mint. But even though I water them like the instructions say, they look quite sad. Any suggestions? I feel that there are quite a few herb-gardening-experts in my LJ friend group.
Off to make myself some Chinese breakfast. It always makes me feel good. :-)
