so the Emmys were a bit of a drag. I really like Conan, so him hosting was a highlight, but other than that? c'mon nth for Bleak House!? nth?! that was such an amazing piece! but I should've guessed all would go to the HBO mini rather than the BBC one. I was sure that Charles Dance for OUTSTANDING LEAD ACTOR IN A MINISERIES OR A MOVIE was almost a shoe-in! and I do think no one deserved the Emmy for OUTSTANDING LEAD ACTRESS IN A MINISERIES OR MOVIE more than Gillian Anderson for her portrayal of Lady Dedlock. Mariska Hargitay for OUTSTANDING LEAD ACTRESS IN A DRAMA SERIES that was plain boring. that should've gone to Kyra Sedgwick, no question about it! however, though I do think Kiefer Sutherland deserved the Emmy for OUTSTANDING LEAD ACTOR IN A DRAMA SERIES, because let's just say it, he is 24, much like Kyra with The Closer; 24 by itself is hardly the OUTSTANDING DRAMA SERIES, I think Grey's Anatomy should have won that, hands down! on another note, it was so good to see the cast of Six Feet Under one more time *sigh*
