I'll mostly remember him from Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. he captivated me with his performance! however, I was rather disillusioned by Cool Hand Luke. nevertheless, he will always remain a favorite! I now mean to seek out some good copies of The Long, Hot Summer and The Hustler.

R.I.P. you were truly a gentle and elegant soul.

You where my first "Heart Throb" not just the amazing blue eyes. You had the full package with your never ending talent even into your very mature years "Road to Perdition" was fantastic!! "Cool hand Luke" a Classic!!!(early days I know)

Alas a film I never got to see and sooooo wanted to was The Silver Chalice.
Such a wonderful man will be powerfully missed. Not only by "nearest and dearest" but by your "army of fans" world wide.
