I'm a sucker for all things *new*, I'll admit that. I also wanted to be fair. I gave The Nine a two ep tryout last fall - didn't stick, despite having Scott Wolf. I gave Brothers & Sisters a two ep tryout - felt it was rather good, nth fab though - except maybe the amount of talent gathered in that ensemble; I passed on that show, bc I had too much on my plate then; I may go back and catch up with it now with the tv drought and all. oh, and also? last night, gave Dexter a try. gotta say, fabulously acted, fabulously produced. has this fully original hispanic vibe. has Julie Benz in it. but still, not my thing concept-wise. but I can honestly appreciate and understand what some ppl may see in it and be somewhat obsessed with it. Michael C. Hall is soo *good* as the title character. it's 180 degrees different from his role on Six Feet Under - cudos! back to the point of this post though, I wanted to give Women's Murder Club a two ep tryout too. and bc this show has Laura Harris, who was the sister getting married on 24 Day 2 (which I'm currently watching!) but also Daisy on Dead Like Me; has Aubrey Dollar who was that other girl from Point Pleasant, who's character despite being a bit nosy and quick to judge was actually quite fun too watch - I was waiting for this girl to pop up somewhere; also has Rob Estes - who's still hot! and Linda Park, who never got much to do on Enterprise... so there, I gave Women's Murder Club another try. 1x02? so bad. completely unwatchable. how did this show get a full season produced!? srsly, how?! and most importantly, why?! I had the ep on constant pause while I browsed through fnlgallery (awesome collection!) and since I have a darn slow connection: 512kbps - think 64kbps dl & 16kbps ul! try, being friendly and uploading stuff at that speed!! anyways, getting off topic here, so while browsing trough pics of Adrienne Palicki and Taylor Kitsch at the 2007 Teen Choice Awards, I watched Women's Murder Club 1x02 about 5-8 minutes at a time, then deciding a bunch of the pics must have loaded, hit 'pause' looked at the gorgeousities and then back to the bore that was 1x02. it was almost painful. and to think such brilliantly conceived and acted shows like Boomtown get the axe and this manages to get by without being poked at? guess, I'm gonna try with something already proven and finally see ROME season 2. nite! it's 4 a.m. my time.
