I have spent every day from May 10 up until yesterday studying, eight hours a day, at NavyMed Hospital's library, for graduate school exam. It seems as though the older we get, the more tests and such we take. Kiss of death or rendez-vous with fate? I think the exam went more along the lines of rendez-vous with fate :)
Today, I return to work at Talbots. It has its perks. The ladies are awesome, I get 30% off all merchandise (including glass/costume jewelry earrings, yay!), there's AC, and the last time a sketchy guy/potential clothes thieves stalked the premises we hired the bodyguards (who are really nice and fun to talk to). The first week there I had a 50% discount off any business suit. Which comes in handy for interning in D.C where I'm required to wear formal business attire/heels etc. all the time.
I am beginning interning in D.C June 30th, I interned there last summer too, at the Dept. of HHS. On other blogs from fellow classmates, I see them showing off how awesome and all the fabulous great things they've accomplished with internships. That's great and all, but I personally prefer keeping work and blog separate, I'm not into mixing the two, don't know why, just my preference je suppose. And I don't want to bore anybody with what I tell them. If they really want to know what it's like interning at DHHS and want to learn more, I'll tell them. But let it be suffice to say--I love working there, I do my best, I work hard, and that's really all there is to tell.
Oh, and now I have to compile list of grad schools and app deadlines. I never thought this day would come, lolll...it feels like it was just yesterday I was applying to Penn...*sigh*
