Started this back in September. Found it again and decided that it was just wtf enough for me to finish. :D Random, pointless. Snapshot in time kind of thing, I guess.

Super Junior, Kibum/Donghae, PG, 988 words
AU. Kibum's not sure what the hell he's doing at a frat party.
new experiences for the new year
by
meitachi Kibum was somewhat of a geek, but he didn't look it, so no one blinked an eye as he walked into the frat house behind Heechul, who was as far away as you could get from a frat boy and yet so popular that even the people who hated him admitted grudgingly to admiring him.
No one blinked an eye at Kibum, because he was tall and the tousled and unbrushed hairstyle was back in this year; he wasn't wearing his glasses because Heechul shouted at him and threatened to apply eyeliner if Kibum didn't leave them behind. Kibum looked like he fit in, because of his broad shoulders and the way his jeans slouched around his hips, but it wouldn't have mattered anyway, because it was a frat party and everyone around him was drunk. He'd be surprised if anyone remembered what he looked like in the morning.
Above the loud, blaring music and the pounding of the bass, Kibum heard drunken shouts from the partiers. He couldn't distinguish the members of the fraternity from all the other party-goers, some of whom, granted, belonged to other fraternities. All of them had plastic red cups full of alcohol in one hand and a scantily dressed girl or two hanging off their other arm.
Heechul flirted blatantly with everyone. Kibum kept quiet, slightly uncomfortable but mostly a little condescending - but he knew how to keep that to himself. He was just here because Heechul had coerced him into it, not because he had any desire to make nice with frat boys or pick up a girl cheaper than a ten-dollar whore.
"Siwon," Kibum heard Heechul purr. He watched as his friend draped himself over the shoulders of a very tall, very attractive fraternity member. Even Kibum knew who Choi Siwon was. Heechul was shameless, shoving away the multitude of girls hanging off Siwon with no hesitation, and Siwon allowed it. In fact, he smiled and said something polite and friendly to Heechul.
For the first time all night, Kibum was surprised. Before he could comment on the anomaly, however, someone collided into his side with an impact that made him gasp as cold beer splashed over his chest.
"What the fuck," he swore, and glared at the guy who had crashed into him. He was met with a pair of laughing brown eyes and a wide, lopsided grin.
"Sorry, sorry," the guy laughed, waving a hand. When Kibum continued to scowl, he was graced with a quirk of the guy's lips. "Dude, what's the big deal? Chill out. Have some beer."
Kibum blinked when he found that the guy had shoved his own cup into Kibum's hands; there was hardly any beer left in it since he had presumably been drinking it before going and spilling it on Kibum.
"C'mon, I'll get you some more." Before Kibum could protest, a hand latched onto his arm and tugged him through the crowded halls, sliding past sweaty bodies. "Donghae, by the way," he threw over his shoulder. "Who'd you come with?"
"I thought these parties were open to anyone who wanted to get trashed," Kibum replied snidely. He was unsure why he was following, but Donghae was the first person to really speak to him all night, who was focused on him, and not just tipsily bestowing a smile and a vague "hi" to Heechul's shadow.
Donghae laughed easily, either not understanding the slight or choosing to ignore it. "Nah, we gotta have standards, you know? Best frat on campus! We've got a reputation to uphold and everything. We only let friends and hot girls in." He winked and Kibum rolled his eyes. Typical.
"I'm here with Heechul," he said. "And I don't really want any more beer, thanks." He wrenched his arm away from Donghae's grasp, annoyed. They were in the middle of the kitchen.
Donghae whirled on him, eyes wide and a little glassy. He was drunk, of course, Kibum thought unkindly. Weren't they all? But Donghae's bangs fell in his eyes, slightly damp with sweat and dark with it, and Kibum grudgingly admitted that he was one of the better looking members of the fraternity that Kibum had seen at the party. Hell, maybe one of the better looking people, period.
"Kim Heechul? You're here with him? Jesus, fuck me."
Kibum's stomach did a very unexpected dip at the low, intense tone of Donghae's voice. "What?" His voice was abrupt, biting.
"I didn't know Heechul had such hot friends," Donghae said with a wide grin.
Kibum didn't even begin to know how to respond to that, too distracted by the sticky linoleum floor and the way Donghae was crossing it, closing the distance between them. All he managed was a fierce frown, but by that time Donghae was already in his personal space, so close that Kibum could feel his body heat, could smell the beer on his breath.
It brought him back to his senses. Oh hell no, he was not going to be some fucking frat boy's drunken homosexual experiment.
"Hey," he said angrily, "Back the fuck off." He took a step back and found himself pressed against the island counter.
"Gotcha," Donghae said. He was still grinning, easy-going, but now his dark eyes were molten under his bangs, and he was stepping even closer.
When he kissed Kibum, all tongue and teeth and alcohol-flavored breath, Kibum knocked over abandoned plastic cups on the counter. Lukewarm beer spilled over his hand (disgusting, some distant part of him thought) as he drew his breath in sharply and - he couldn't quite help it - kissed Donghae back.
Donghae's fingers hooked around Kibum's belt loops and Kibum said fuck it to himself, because Donghae was a fucking amazing kisser and Kibum frankly doesn't really care if he was a frat boy or not at this point.
(Heechul walked in a few minutes later, Siwon in tow and the Chinese transfer on his arm, and nearly brought down the house with his loud, lascivious whistles. Kibum knew he was never going to live this one down.)
