I was the same. I think it's because he's missing from a lot of stuff. He never crops up in the movie (for obvious reasons) and he's only in Full House for that 5 seconds of the first episode (in which they call him "The 13th member"). But then, you watch something with him in it, and he's sarcastic and hilarious and you fall in love~
