blizzard4526 wanted Akira/Hikaru from Hikaru no Go, with pranks. I used up my better fic ideas for
blind_go so I scrabbled this together last minute. I hope you still like it though. :)

meitachi "ARE YOU EATING GO STONES?" Touya stared at his rival in shock. He'd always known Shindou was crazy but certainly not to this level, to--to the point of defiling go pieces! It was outrageous, even for Shindou, and especially now that Touya was finally considering him, grudgingly, a real opponent with depth. He'd have to revise his opinion again and Touya hated being wrong.
Shindou only smirked at him and popped another white go stone in his mouth. "So what if I am?" he asked challengingly.
"Stop!" demanded Touya, who was noticing in despair how being around Shinidou seemed to put in him a state on constant italicization.
"But they're so delicious! You should try one!" Shindou grinned at Touya's aggravated expression. He put his hand back into his jacket pocket and walked into the Go Institute, the sliding doors pulling back and washing a wave of warm air over him. Touya followed, still clearly upset, face flushed by either the cold winter air or his anger. He suspected the latter but would protest the former upon interrogation. He set his mouth in a scowl.
"Are you stupid?" he asked Shindou belligerently.
Shindou only laughed and said agreeably, "I might be." Touya had a sneaking suspicion that he was being tolerated with amused affection like an angry kitten. To be compared to a pet! Of all the nerve! He bristled.
"Oh, honestly," said Shindou as he punched the up arrow to call for an elevator. He turned and gave Touya an exasperated look. "Do you really think I'm eating go stones?"
Touya stiffened. "You're the one who said you were stupid enough to," he said heatedly. Was Shindou trying to somehow blame his idiocy on him? He had never once encouraged his rival to that degree of degradation!
"Oh, for God's sake," said Shindou, sliding a hand around the back of Touya's neck and pulling him forward. Their mouths met, Touya's open in surprise, and Shindou slid something hard and round from his tongue to Touya's. He drew back, but not before licking at Touya's bottom lip a little. He looked slightly bemused.
Touya blinked and carefully and swirled the round object around in his mouth, probing it carefully. It was sweet and...minty, surprisingly, and melting in his mouth. Not a go stone then. He glanced at Shindou. "What is it?"
"A Mentos," Shindou replied.
"A what?"
"A mint," he clarified, grinning. "Did you really think I carried go stones around in my pocket and ate them, Touya? That's, um, really weird, you know."
Touya flushed and this time he was positive, unfortunately, that it was all Shindou-caused. "That's what it looked like!" he said defensively. And Shindou was, after all, weird. Could he blame Touya for thinking he'd do something crazy like that?
Shindou shook his head, laughing mostly to himself. The elevator dinged and the doors slid open. Touya followed Shindou in silently, still embarrassed and thinking of the heat of Shindou's mouth.
