I'm sitting at my desk listening to the sound of paws scratching the kitchen tiled floor. My cat only makes an attempt (and always a fervant one, too) to "cover up" her food and disguise it from other imaginary cats when it was canned wet food with chunky meat. I guess she doesn't really care if other cats come and eat her dry food, while Maomao always used to make attempts to "cover up" her food after each meal no matter what. Three scratches to the right of the bowl, three to the left, a bit of a sniff on the (of course not covered) food, and more scratches as if it was on a surface covered by sand. I guess this shows that Enoki is more generous in spirit.

Somehow everytime I hear her doing this, I smile.
