It has been pointed out that I am seriously over due for an update of any kind.

With that in mind here is a very brief review of what I've been up to:

As last we heard I went to London and had a great time playing with the hubby and eating my way through a large selection of the kosher scene there.

I then flew home to do work placements all summer (no seriously all summer...) Adam visited for 10 days after I'd been gone 3 weeks and then we were apart another 2 weeks which was very sad but we ended up together again in time for our anniversary! The summer can be broken into: 9 weeks small animal work (where I finally had the realization I'll be a vet in less than a year!) 2 weeks Equine and 1 week stewarding an anesthesia conference. Adam and I also celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary. While I was home I found out I received a distinction in my companion animal course from last year - basically like honors, so that was exciting.

Since starting back at the vet school I've had 4 weeks rotation in the equine hospital, 2 weeks in the small animal hospital and have just started my 4 week block of large animals/farm/public health.

In 31 days I will be sitting the board exam to practice in America (something all vets have to do regardless of where they go to school) and in just over 8 months I will be (if all goes well) having a diploma passed to me by some fancy person from the uni.
