Bored. I was going to bitch, that's what these livejournals are for, right? But I decided against it.
Leslie is having a baby boy in December. Jackson Hayden. She wants me to be his godmother. I'm so excited for her, but I'm nervous, too. A baby is a huge responsibilty, especially for a 19-year-old. I'm proud of her, though, for not feeling like she HAS to marry Lennie just because she's having his child. He's leaving for Air Force basic training at the end of this month, and will likely be gone when Jackson is born. She's also going to start school this semester at Valencia. She still has a lot of growing up to do, but she's trying to be more focused.
Work is blah. I'm getting Friday off this week, which will be nice. On Saturday, Nick and I are supposed to be going to Busch Gardens in Tampa. I'm SOOOO excited! I haven't been able to spend much time in the sun over the last six months, and you have NO IDEA how much I've come to despise having to stay indoors. I was surprised that Nick is somewhat okay with the idea of me going to a theme park with a lot of sun exposure, but I swore to wear a high SPF. When we went to Fantasy of Flight last month, I didn't wear any sunblock and we did the tram tour and watched the flight demonstration and rode home with the T-tops off, and I got a little red, but that could also have been wind-burn. Note: Wearing a cowboy hat in a Trans-Am with the T-tops off at high speeds is, actually, possible, plus it keeps the sun out of your eyes and looks really badass.
