I just joined and I'm really excited to have found this community! :)
My fiance and I bought our sweet female chinchilla in December 2007. It was love at first sight! We named her George but usually we just call her Chilly or Chi-Chi. I go to school two hours away from home so I only see her on the weekends, but Jason (my fiance) takes great care of her. We love to put her in the bathroom and let her jump and play.
This community has been so helpful already! Last night I did some major chin research for a couple hours and found out a lot. We bought her new food today. We've been feeding her the Charlie Chinchilla brand food, which I read is not the most healthy for her to eat. We got her Mazuri pellets from PetSmart and a couple new toys and wood blocks. Chilly really is like our baby, we spoil her rotten
