Dreams and art pimpage.

Again, with crazy dreams.

Yes, my dreams came in three segments that I can clearly remember. The first segment, I found out that I could fly. This followed the formula for most of my other flying dreams, which means that I could only fly if I jumped high enough and was able to make my body horizontal before I hit the ground again. And I can only hover a few feet off the ground. It takes a while for me to learn how to get higher, but I eventually figure it out, and am able to jump off of buildings and fly around. I am such a superman. My friends (these are the people from my program at FIT) don't believe I can fly after I run up to them all excited like. So, I take them over to Central Park, Belvedere Castle, and tell them to wait down below. I climb to the top, wave hi so they can see me, and then jump. Of course there is screaming, ah ah, what the hell are you doing, oh my god, someone catch her, but then I'm flying and the screaming changes tone a little bit. I laugh and circle around them for a bit and then am off on my way, flying across the trees of Central Park.

Second segment, I attended a wedding with one of my oldest friends, Felicity Huffman and some older guy, and it was lovely and everything. They didn't head off on their honeymoon right after the reception, but went back to their house. I joined them with their father in law, Peter Boyle (how this works, I have no idea, but remember, I flew in the previous dream). We were sitting around the table eating ice cream and laughing and generally having a good time. Felicity gets up and says, "Come with me, I need to talk to you." So I follow her into the kitchen and she turns to me and says, "You know, I'm not so sure about this whole...marriage...thing..."
Of course, I have a moment of O_O and then I go, "Huh?"
"Yeah, I'm not sure. I thought I wanted to get married and now..."
"Okay, one moment. You do realize that you are already married."
"Well, I was thinking about it today and I knew that I want a career and a life of my own."
"You can get a career even if you are married! And you knew that you would be sharing your life with another person when you agreed to get married. And why the hell are you thinking these things on your wedding day?? Get some good sleep on it and it will all look better tomorrow, I promise."
"He's not really going to let me sleep tonight..."
"Gah, more information than I needed!"

Third segment. I am supposed to get married. Yes, to Tim. Unfortunately, it's the day of the wedding and I don't get to see him until that afternoon. But I'm running around doing all the beauty stuff and last minute wedding type stuff. We are then on our way to the brunch and mom suggests we walk to it together, since it was a nice day out and it was a good walk, I agree. And mom got all mushy, saying this was our last walk like this while I was a single woman, yada yada, and I go, "Oh, look! That woman is selling asparagus!" That's when I woke up...I love my dream tangents. ^_^

And now, for something completely different!

Art pimping.

Because I am always looking for inspiration.

Look, it's Franky! I love this girl's style. Take a look at the rest of her gallery. So quirky!

This girl's art's a little bit darker, but just as awesome.

I really enjoy this girl's cutesy realism/Disney-ish style. Check out her animation. It's really awesome.

Look at this guy's Smoker! And fear the rest of his mad painter skills.

That's all for now. ^_^
