Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!!!
Ok i will confess at the beginning of this entry that THERE ARE NO TIGER PICTURES, sorry to mislead you all. They were kept inside today, however as you've probably gathered Natalie's been to the Zoo today so prepare for picture overload!!! Atlanta Zoo is really rather brilliant, though it's classed as a 'small' zoo, yeah right! It's about 25 minutes walk from where we are and a lovely place to loose one's self for the afternoon!!!
On the journey to the zoo i encountered this little chap

Yup a woodpecker, happily roaming the streets of Atlanta.
Now off to the zoo!!

I'm really good at getting photos of animal heads, so, here's a Bongo head for you, i think there was probably a whole Bongo there, it was just being camera shy, i hope!!!
A whole new meaning to the phrase 'monkeying around'
I didn't take the time to count the Gorillas but there were lots!
And some of King Louis (or relatives of his at any rate, Jungle Book)

We now take a break from the cute and cuddley for their exact opposite, i present to you: Slasher the Komodo Dragon (nothing quite like giving a dog a bad name and hanging it, is there?)

I am of course aware that i haven't as yet fulfilled my 'Lions and Bears' criteria, but that will have to wait for a while as i've done lots of walking today and need to get to bed. Bon Nuit all, Natalie xxx
