In the quest for a drama free zone... it seems that very few can communicate in a clear concise manner.
In modern schools are "proper english" skills focusing too much on concepts that can shield actual meaning? IE: metaphor etc.
Or does focusing on shield techniques enable a person to look at all sides and form your own conclusion through weighing out all of the possibilities of what could be being said?
And if the second is the case does that really help communication of a point?

I'm liking the assenting grunt more and more.
