Spamalot...very funny...not worth full price, so free was good. My mom's work takes them every other year to a show so off to Camelot it was this year. I'm think I may have to go back just to see Clay pretend to shit himself as Brave Sir Robin. Very sad that Tom Deckman AND Marin Mazzie were out. Figures, the two people I wanted to see..out. Tom Deckman's understudy James Ludwig was HYSTERICAL...but Christian Borle in that part, the only other time I saw the show, just stole it for me.
Other highlights:
Got in early, so we took the subway up to Bloomindale's and made a pit stop at Dylan's Candy Bar for some goodies before we shopped.
Very very very yummy food at Bar Americain (one of Bobby Flay's restaurants)
Shopped at Bloomingdale's and bought myself a new purse that I love and my mom bought me scarf...and we go to leave. I'm walking out, not paying attention, half looking down, and in comes a girl wearing the Juicy Couture ballet plaid ballet flats I looked at and wanted 30 mins prior. Boo for Juicy not making size 11 in those shoes. Anywayyyy...I say "it's those shoes!" to my mom (if you know me, you will know I'm quite a shoe person) The girl is now holding the door open for me to come out and as I go through the door I say "I love your shoes!". She smiled and was like "Thank you very much!" and as I pass by...I'm mentally going "OK I know her from somewhere!". My mom comes thru the door and in goes the girl. After the door shuts and we're outside, my mom goes "OMG THAT was Cameron Diaz!" and the light bulb went off as that's why I recognized her. Out on the street was a fancy schmancy car with a driver who looked at us and was pretty much like yeah. Mom and I proceeded to crack up that I told Cameron Diaz that I liked her shoes...lol. I knew she was tall...but wow, she was almost as tall as me and I'm pushing 6 foot. And her freaking flawless skin was ridiculously gorgeous and she had like only lipgloss on. Anyway, yeah that was my fun story for the day.
