In short...
Chorus Line was a big old cry fest today. Tyler was in tears before the opening number was done.....so that made me cry. Poor guy was emotional the whole show. I wanted to hug him. The cast was crying off and on the whole show. Michael Beresse was sobbing off and on the whole show...I felt so bad for him. I wanted to hug him too as he went back up the aisle after the "alternatives" scene. By that point, there was not a dry eye in the house and "what i did for love" so didn't help. His speech before chosing the dancers you could hear in his voice that it was killing him to get thru. Nice standing O they got during the kick line.
I brought flowers for Tyler...and got to see him afterwards...glad he took a while..so I was not a complete mess when he came outside.
I can't tell you the last time I cried that much over a show or movie or anything.
