Wayyyyy behind....
This post is wayyyyyy overdue.
Thurs the 24th:
-Went to Philly with my mom. She had gotten us tickets to see the King Tut exhibit for my birthday. The exhibit was very cool, btw. Then, we went to the Melting Pot for dinner. SO MUCH FUN!! Neither of us had ever been...so we had fun cooking our own food and having fondue. Best part: chocolate fondue for dessert. We got some white chocolate thing with amaretto thrown in...sooo good. They even gave me a chocolate candle to take home for my bday.
Friday 25th:
- Ran errands with my mom and finally got around to ordering new prescription sunglasses.
Saturday the 26th:
-Caught the early train which was packed!!!! by the 3rd stop and headed into the city to meet up with Joel. Yankee fans drinking at 9:45 in the morning was a lil strange. Text messages kept me occupied during the ride.
-We won Hairspray lotto as, well, b-days at the Spray are becoming tradition - - Headed off to brunch at Eatery as we were hiding from all the insane tourists.
-Picked up all the tickets for the night shows and I got the Grey Gardens cd at Virgin.
- Got back to the Neil Simon And OMG! BRYAN WEST WAS LINK!!! and I loved every second of it. I've been waiting and waiting to finally catch him go on. Ahhh..love his voice (it takes two kicked ass) and he plays it so sincere and Joel said it right..Bryan's very emotionally invested as Link. His "I can hear the bells" when Tracy's unconscious scene was sooo awww-worthy...right down to the "you have a funny way of putting things. I like that" line. I think that was his best line delivery in the whole show.
-The TMS was on crack yesterday. Cunio as a bum during 60's right in front of us was hysterical and made the funniest face at me. But his Stooie yesterday was extra raunchy.
-Booked after Hairspray down to Penn to pick up Steph who came in to see Spring Awakening with me and go to dinner. Joel picked up Monica and we all ended up at Junior's along with Linda. Best moment at dinner - tongue, salami, and RUMP ROAST!
-Hung out with some of my fav people in the Courtyard for a bit and took some new pics.
-Steph and I headed to Spring and Joel went to Journey's End.
Sunday: hung out with Mom and saw Shrek the 3rd. Funny that I saw Shrek 2 for my bday a few years ago with Michelle.
Monday: the usual P-rade and cookout business with Steph's fam and my mom and I.
