June 5th, Day 7:
Get a phone call at 9:45 this morning after an extremely late night. Levi says he's going to be over in 10 minutes to go record. I hastily pull on some pants and met him outside...
Here'a a brief list of exactly what we did today.
- one track of a lead violin line
- one track of a rhythym/harmonizing violin line
- finished the lead guitar parts
- 4 or 5 vocal parts (including: harmonies and barbershop style doo-wops)
- alot of making fun of Levi.
- comparing/parralleling the similarities between the last 45 seconds of the track to sex/orgasm/fatigue
But the good news is this: We have our first song 'officially' done. All instrumentation and vocals are complette. The song will be mixed within a few days hopefully and then it's being submitted to a SaskCompilation that our buddy Hoover is putting out... it probably be thrown up on the webbernet to listen to as well in the next week or two. If anyone is familiar the song is called "Dead Eyes".
And now, for no reason a rad picture i took while I was pretty drunk last Friday (sorry, no camera in the studio today.)
