Days Gone By,...
Hi Everyone,
Well a lot has happened over the last couple of days. Mum and dad are still mad at my grandparents... understandably. We had to call in and visit them on Tuesday... good news is that my Christmas shopping is now done... I've been really "slack" this year, usually I have done it by the beginning of December! Anyways, we ended up staying there for about 2 hours and it was okay... they sort of ignored me the whole time, but you get that. Oh and they talked lots about their favourites.... as expected. Mum's birthday is next Wed (the 20th! same day as ruaalien2), and the grandparents gave us a present to bring home... needless to say that mum refuses to open it... stubborness... definitely doesn't run in the family??
I can't believe how tired I have been lately... maybe it's all that hard work I've done. My goal for this summer break besides doing a summer school unit... is to finish writing up my recipe cards and do a bit more scrapbooking. Oh and I would love some more good book titles passed my way.... I've just finished reading The White Masai by Corinne Hoffmann... great read. Mum has been bringing all these books home for me to read from a few of her work colleagues... how nice is that?
