Oh, Iraq?
'You have to ask yourself, "ok, if Bush claims there will be no draft, just
how will he continue his military misadventure in Iraq?" The list of new
volunteers in the armed forces is practically non-existent. He is forcing
guard personnel who have completed their contract to stay on, not only at
home but also in Iraq. He has implemented a policy of no release in the
armed forces. Why -- because he has no new volunteers and he needs more and
more forces in Iraq every day. Unfortunately, I think the neo-cons that
surround him and make up his war cabinet (none of which ever served in the
military because, as Cheney has put it, "they had other priorities") have no
skills or appreciation for diplomacy. Why is this crucial in this election?
Because Iran is just weeks away from nuclear capability and North Korea is
already there. That's where the weapons of mass destruction are, not in
Iraq. Bush doesn't how to do anything on foreign policy but flex his Texan
muscles and pull out his six shooter. That translates into more war -- who
is going to fill the boots of those needed soldiers? I wouldn't bet any
money or this election on a promise from the current administration that
there will be no draft. And quite frankly, I wouldn't bank on a new
administration refusing to consider it. The only hope in my mind rests on
the fact that Kerry is a diplomat. He understands other cultures. He can
communicate and consider and weigh options and think through to non-military
solutions. He has an intellect that is not buried in his own ego.'

I will politically rip you apart if you try any more of this Bush bullshit again. If you've got 2 issues, I'll throw 10 more in your face. Try me. Get him out of office, pleace. Stop all the ignorance, get informed, and then we can have a mature discussion about this. If you still say Bush, fair enough, but don't blindly pick a candidate based on physical appearance. That's stupidity. Grow the fuck up.
I also believe that Kerry's not perfect for president, he's just the lesser of two evils. He's not perfect, sure, but he's not grinding this country into the ground like Bush is. It makes me SICK.
I care abouts women's and gay's rights, and the environment, which Bush is currently taking a shit on. That's just the beginning of my list. Bring it. Please.
